Chapter News -
The old Katherine Smith Home - which was demolished some time back due to age - is to be replaced by the Katherine Smith Center for Special Needs. This new facility will be constructed to assist Moosehaven residents who suffer from Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

In order to get the funds needed, International is asking that each Chapter donate the equivalent of $6.50 per member. Each Chapter that reaches this goal will receive a Certificate of Appreciation and the Chapter name will be placed on the donation plaque inside the new facility.

To help, please make your check for $6.50 (or more) to either The Women of the Moose or Moose Charities and note "Katherine Smith Center" on the memo line of your check. Either bring it by to the Chapter, or mail it to us at Mableton Chapter #1216, PO Box 1311, Mableton, GA 30126.

Academy of Friendship conferral will be at Mid-Year State Convention in Macon, February 28th. This year an additional conferral will take place at International Convention in Nashville for those who don't make it to State Mid-Year. Both conferrals are open to any Matriculant call card holders.
